I can’t think of anything more satisfying on a crisp January night than soup or stew for supper. My family is always excited when they come in from the cold to the aroma of a soup or stew simmering in the kitchen. And, I am delighted that dinner is quick and easy to prepare and leaves only one pot to wash after it is served. There is no end to the flavor combinations you can explore. Serve an American tradition one night, an international favorite the next, and your own recipe of favorite ingredients another.
