Better Batter
Most people will admit that they can't resist anything battered and deep fried. Whether it is fish, shellfish, chicken, or vegetables, it seems like a special treat when it has the extra flavor deep frying provides. There are many ways to coat foods for frying, but I think having the perfect batter is the secret to success every time. My favorite batter is the Beer Batter that appears on page 31 of Sara's Secrets for Weeknight Meals as well as on the Crispy Zucchini Sticks pictured on this page. More ways to enjoy it follow:
